Landmark brings festive cheer to Hong Kong

LANDMARK is bringing a festive pop-up shopping experience reminiscent of the cinnamon-scented and yule-spirited Christmas markets that populate the streets of Europe at this time of year. Shoppers can experience Christmas Market at LANDMARK, located on the third floor of LANDMARK ATRIUM, transformed into a veritable Santa’s grotto full of seasonal atmosphere and festive cheer, from 2nd November to 31stDecember, providing the opportunity to experience this beloved tradition without having to fly to Europe.

November 2020 – LANDMARK is bringing a festive pop-up shopping experience reminiscent of the cinnamon-scented and yule-spirited Christmas markets that populate the streets of Europe at this time of year. Shoppers can experience Christmas Market at LANDMARK, located on the third floor of LANDMARK ATRIUM, transformed into a veritable Santa’s grotto full of seasonal atmosphere and festive cheer, from 2nd November to 31stDecember, providing the opportunity to experience this beloved tradition without having to fly to Europe.

At Christmas Market at LANDMARK, visitors and shoppers will be able to soak up the festive atmosphere while listening to Christmas carols and perusing the shopping booths. LANDMARK is known for its remarkable annual Christmas installations and this year will be no different. With rows of Christmas trees, cosy corners filled with stockings, and old-fashioned streetlamps adorned with wreaths, the Christmas market will have plenty of captivating décor to set the tone.

“We want to create this unique experience, bringing Christmas and joy to Hong Kong and celebrate with our community at LANDMARK,” says Raymond Chow, Executive Director of Hongkong Land.

Like its traditional European counterparts, the focus of the Christmas Market at LANDMARK will be a collection of booths filled with covetable items. There will be exclusive products and Hong Kong firsts at the market from LANDMARK stores as well as new brands, making this the perfect one-stop shop for checking off gifting lists. With everything from fine spirits and homeware to designer accessories and foodie hampers available, shoppers will be able to find presents for even the hardest to please on their shopping list.

Expect to find Polo by Ralph Lauren, selling an array of ideal Christmas gift options including sweaters, fragrances, and the brand’s first ever cloth face masks, as well as products by Ralph’s Coffee including coffee beans and the debut of the Ralph’s Coffee x Sttoke BEAR-ista Reusable Cup. Shoppers can sample decadent chocolates at the first physical appearance by British chocolatier Charbonnel et Walker, purchase monogrammable leather goods and never-before-seen homeware items by Italian-made accessories brand Senreve, as well as the full 2020 Christmas collection from La Maison du Chocolat, which includes its Cracker Advent Calendar, Glazed Chestnut Gift Box, and ‘Hatbox’ hampers full of chocolate treats.

In the Christmas Market Wine Shop, epicures will be able to pick up exclusive independent whiskies – including Arran’s Peacock, Samaroli, and Douglas Liang – from The Whisky Library, seek out personalised gin bottles from Dr. Fern’s, discover products from Hong Kong’s purveyor of sake, Sake Central, including the debut of their newest ENTER.Sake, and bottles from Japanese beverage retailer, Sunday’s Spirits.

Other popular brands and gift items to choose from include Christmas hampers by The Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong, beautiful Christmas ornaments by Indigo Living and delicate festive glassware by Town House, men’s tailor The Armoury, gourmet caviar and abalone retailer Reign Abalone House, home-grown dessert house Cookie DPT who will be selling their much-loved cookies alongside the debut of new merchandise including a Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie Baking Kit and a Chocolate Chip Cookie scented candle, and a full range of treats and accessories from pet-centric lifestyle brand, Bark Mall.

At the Christmas Market at LANDMARK, exclusivity won’t just be limited to shopping. Richard Ekkebus, the acclaimed chef of Amber at The Landmark Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong, will be treating shoppers to an original bakery concept created just for the pop-up. LMO Freshly Baked by Richard Ekkebus will be serving a collection of more than 15 different baked goods and sweet treats inspired by Ekkebus’s favourite childhood desserts. From Organic Amalfi Lemon Madeleines and Vanilla & Sea Salt Financiers to rum filled Canalés and Pecan & Chocolate Cookies, this is sure to be a highly sought-after indulgence at the market. To guarantee that straight-from-the-oven freshness, a different item will be available each hour.

Located at Shop 308 & 312-314, 3/F LANDMARK Atrium, open Monday-Sunday from 11am – 8pm.

The Christmas Market at LANDMARK will run from 2nd November to 31st December, 2020.
