Santa’s Secret Kingdom
This festive season, Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong, transforms into a holiday wonderland with Santa’s Secret Kingdom: The Magic Menders, an enchanting family experience hosted in exclusive, festively themed rooms. Running from November 29 to December 26, 2025, families on Santa’s "nice list" are invited to the Museum of Christmas Magic, which promises a heartwarming Christmas adventure of love, joy and creativity.
The themed family experience is hosted in three beautifully decorated rooms featuring different workshops. Hidden behind special doors, the activities are revealed with a secret token: The Music Room, to unlock a Christmas music box that sings with holiday songs; The Toy Room, where children can create their very own cuddly companion; and The Memory Forge, where families can design a one-of-a-kind Christmas-themed memory box.
Upon arriving at the Museum Tour Check-In Desk, families will be greeted by the cheerful Elf, Wrinkle. Follow along as he introduces the fascinating stories behind the exclusive rooms, adorned with festive treasures in every corner. For something extra memorable, Santa’s Secret Kingdom concludes with a personal meet-and-greet with Santa himself. Catch Santa with his reindeer just before they take off to the skies at Island Shangri-La from December 6 to 26, 2025. Parking his sleigh at the L6 Lobby, he will share tales of his grand adventures around the world and surprise with gifts and festive sweets for the most well-behaved kids. Weighing between 4kg and 6kg, this signature turkey features a recipe perfected over a year by Chef Uwe, who has sourced his birds from the same trusted US partner for more than 15 years. Each one is meticulously steamed and roasted using a special technique until golden brown, offering succulent meat and crisp skin in every slice. Classic trimmings complete the experience, including red cabbage and Brussels sprouts inspired by a cherished family recipe from Chef Uwe’s grandmother.
For an unforgettable celebration, the HK$8,888 Holiday Feast Package transforms any table into a lavish banquet for 10-12 guests with a golden 4kg Roast Turkey alongside honey-glazed ham, velvety Lobster Bisque, exquisite Pâté en croûte, rich Christmas Pudding, and a curated trio of premium Champagne, red, and white wines, pure opulence in every bite.
Also on offer throughout the festive season is the Premium Roast Turkey Gift Box (HK$2,288) including a succulent 4kg Phug Estate Organic Roast Turkey, paired with classic sides, sauces, and buttery stollen, this set is perfect for intimate gatherings of 6-8. Filled with delightful Christmas scents and sounds, the Lobby at Island Shangri-La returns with its beloved Christmas Market from November 18 to December 26, 2025. Stroll through stalls offering thoughtful gifts and festive treats that will leave big smiles on faces come Christmas morning, including hand-crafted chocolate of classic Christmas Tree and Christmas Stocking with Bonbon, as well as intricate edible sculptures of Chocolate Teddy, Snowman, Santa and an Ornament Piñata, available in limited quantities.
Adding a touch of festivity, the Christmas Ornament is inspired by the classic tree decor, delicately crafted with almond praline, pistachio and sesame nougatine in the shape of a snowflake. Meanwhile, savour the perfect seasonal treat with customisable Gingerbread Cookies in adorable shapes and a Gingerbread House.
