[October 2021] BaseHall is switching up its culinary offerings once again with the addition of three new outlets, introducing a further variety of offerings. From Italian-inspired comfort food at MAMMA’s, to health-conscious treats at nüte, and caffeine and cocktails from local coffeehouse, CREW, the new additions represent the next evolution of the dynamic multi-concept food hall and a commitment to its mission to support culinary talent in Hong Kong.

Italian Comfort Food at MAMMA’s

Much like its original iteration in Soho, the all-new MAMMA’s by Meraki Hospitality Group is a celebration of hearty, satisfying dishes and laid-back, un-fussy hospitality. This time, MAMMA’s invites BaseHall’s diners to grab a fork and tuck into an Italian-inspired feast at their newly minted pop-up pasta kitchen.

From platefuls of pasta, aperitivo cheese boards and signature dishes such as Lamb Lasagne, Prawn Capellini, and Pesto Orecchiette, diners are sure to feel at home with MAMMA’s offerings. For an indulgent lunch, MAMMA’s set menu includes a choice of starters—Parma Ham & Focaccia or Caprese Salad—a pasta special, and drinks like fresh lemonade or sodas. Up the ante with the Italian house wines, and it’s easy to pretend you’re in bella Italia.

Nutritious Eats at nüte

Inspired by a deep respect for nature, scientifically driven nutrition, and a belief in the need to educate people about wellbeing, nüte aims to make it easy for people to adopt a health-conscious lifestyle. In a two-pronged approach, nüte creates functional, convenient food powered by natural ingredients and aims to visualise and simplify the world of nutrition to help people make better choices.

At BaseHall, nüte’s menu includes two signature offerings— Icebar Smoothies - grab-and-go bars that can be enjoyed as a quick pick-me-up - and Smoothie Bowls, nutrient-dense bowls designed to detox or boost immunity and are best enjoyed as a sit-down meal. Two varieties each of Wholesome Tartines and Japanese Grain Bowls will also be available for a healthful, filling bite at any time of day.

Coffee and more by Crew

Homegrown brand Crew is all about bringing coffee and people together and creating a unique lifestyle and community. By day, BaseHall’s guests can enjoy the signature drink, The Crew, along with a range of specialty coffees freshly prepared by trained baristas. There’s even a choice of beans—the nutty, chocolate-flavoured Crew Blend features Brazilian and Colombian beans, while the Single Origin is the fruity Ethiopian Sakicha. From flat whites and sparkling black to cold brew and hand drip, caffeine aficionados will be able to have their coffee exactly the way they want it.

Need a little treat to go with your brew? Crew will be collaborating with other local brands to offer mochi, mooncakes, macarons and more so that your grab-and-go coffee turns into a real break in your day. In the evenings, Crew will spice things up for the after-work and dinner crowds with a series of signature Crew-tails, carefully curated list of fine wines and Champagnes, and premium Scotches.

“We are thrilled to showcase the latest evolution of BaseHall and believe our guests will appreciate the new offerings,” says Tom Andrews, Senior Asset Manager at Hongkong Land Limited. “Our aim here has always been to foster local talents and create dynamic dining and drinking experiences, and the addition of three dynamic vendors will bring a fresh edge to our offerings and meet the needs of our customers, whether that’s comfort food, specialty coffee, or healthy bites.”

MAMMA’s, nüte and Crew are now open at BaseHall.
