Ovolo Hotels may be the only hotel group in Hong Kong to offer a fun-filled quarantine service, but that doesn’t mean they’re content to rest on their laurels. To innovate the quarantine experience and add maximum Yuletide joy, Ovolo Hotels is adding all sorts of Christmas activities and seasonal goodies that are guaranteed to make even the grinchiest of guests get into the Christmas spirit this December.

To ease guests into the fun, the program includes a Christmas movie night where they can select from a list of classic holiday favourites, as well as a selection of the best Netflix shows of 2020. Of course, guests will also still have access to a world of entertainment with complimentary Wifi, Apple TV, and Alexa.

It doesn’t really feel like Christmas if you don’t have the right décor, so Ovolo has put together a roster of activities to ensure the halls – or rather, guest rooms – are decked and guests stay busy. 14 days will fly by when trimming Christmas trees, decorating gingerbread cookies, and putting together Christmas puzzles. And, there will even be a stocking to hang up – one filled with all kinds of surprises!

‘Tis also the season for indulgence, so to ensure “A Very Merry Quarantine,” the Concierge service will ply guests with seasonal treats like build-your-own hot cocoa, candygrams, happy hours with mulled wine, and rounds of Champagne. Guests can also avoid that holiday weight by working out in between treats – the Quarantine Concierge service includes workout kits stocked with a yoga mat, gliders, and resistance bands. But even without all these festive gifts and activities, Ovolo had received over 1,500 Quarantine Concierge bookings, most of which are either guests booking directly or repeat family and business travelling guests.

At its core, “A Very Merry Quarantine” Concierge offers the same supportive, extras-packed service as the original. That means guests will still enjoy the fit-for-a-rock-star package that includes, in-room plants, complimentary breakfasts and snacks, wellness kits, HK$1,000 F&B credits, and more. And, in case guests need something specific during their stay, the Quarantine Concierge can grab them during the daily run, so whether it’s a SIM card for quickly reconnecting to local life or a favourite food to satisfy a craving, guests can get exactly what they need.
